will the GI Issue Knife Sharpening Stone work good on my hunting, and pocket knives?

will this work from my big buck knives a gutting knives to my pocket knives?

Small stones are a lot of work..Get a nice medium grit diamond impregnated wet stone. It will sharpen anything you want..a set for ceramic sticks (crock sticks) will put a very very fine edge on it.
