Double Edge

Why do Republicans always have to apply a double edge sword tactic when people's lives are at stake here?

Well many would say there are two sides to every story. If your going to look at what is best for the country you can't just look at what you think is right. People will disagree with you no matter what. You always have to look at both arguments and try to work something out b/c if you don't your just going to piss off one side and that side might be the majority. The point is don't always think about your self and do your best to provide for everyone not just your interests. So I can see how it could be seen as a "double edged sword tactic". Good luck.
