I Live In Texas, And I Just Bought A Hunting Knife. I Want To Know If It’s Legal To Carry In Texas?

my knife is 10" overall, with a blade just under 5". is that legal to carry on me in public, as long as i dont conceal it?

If I’m not mistaken, as long as it is shorter than 5 and a half inches, and is not blantently a dagger or “dangerous weapon” the nyou should be fine from a legal standpoint.
Coming from soneone that EDC a fixed blade… people are going to give you looks. And constantly ask “what? Are you gonna kill someone with that thing?”

It is not illegal to carry this knife because it is under 5.5 inches. If it were more than that it would be considered an illegal knife. If it is a bowie knife it is illegal to carry though. A Bowie knife is a singled edge blade with an overall length of 15 inches. Im pretty sure your is legal. Since yours is 10″ then its all good. Yeah, it is. The other are right about the blade length rules I believe. I certaintly hope so, because I have one just under that.
