Buck is a good brand
they do about as good with 420HC as anybody does
if you like it and it fits – it is a pretty good knife and price is reasonable
holding an edge and easy to sharpen is what everyone wants but all steels have to be something of a compromise

Is The Buck Iceman A Good Knife?
Looking to buy one, for camping/hunting. Does it hold an edge, easy to sharpen, good size, and good for everyday tasks.

I’m not familiar with the “Iceman” but I have owned a dozen or so different Bucks and they have all been great knives. They are a good, reputable american company.
