Knife Pack

When certain people decide on working out in order to rip their abs, they start collating all exercise routines that they can squeeze out from Google. Carefully, they segregate crunches from twists, and sit ups from side bends and much more abs-ripping routines they can get. With all the abdominal firming exercises they may have executed, some will still see some "muffin-like" formations on their sides. They start to wonder what they have not done in order to actually get that six pack going.

Some focus on their abdominals and forget that the core muscles are composed of three essential parts - abdominal muscles, lower back muscles and the obliques. With those flabby loose parts of your skin that lingers on your supposed to be perfect ensemble, you get disappointed that you haven't done enough to earn your fabulous abs. What you actually have missed is ripping your oblique muscles. You focused on getting the six pack abs and have forgotten the muscles on your sides that actually complete the entire package. What you need to do now is to start collating oblique muscle exercises as well and incorporate them to your training.

With this article, you start of with something that will slice your oblique muscles to perfection. The Side Jack Knife routine is promised to work wonders on your oblique muscles and remove those flabby parts on your love handles.

To kick this off, lie on a mat on the floor with your right hand laid flat on the floor and left hand placed behind your head. Also, extend your legs and make sure they stay straight throughout this exercise. With your starting position all set, bring your torso and one of your legs toward each other as you pull from your oblique muscles. This movement is like bringing your left elbow closer to your left knee, in such a way that they almost touch, thus contracting your love handles. Pause for a second on the top of the movement and go back to your starting position. Do as much repetitions as you can with one side and then switch to the other.

Make sure to perform slow and controlled movements so as to experience satisfying results from this exercise. Also, do not raise your upper body with your neck as this will have nothing to do with your oblique muscles and will definitely place you in some risk of getting neck injuries. Do not attempt to make shortcuts and stay disciplined in whatever routine you perform. Now, start slicing your oblique muscles into perfection and begin looking at a really fabulous abdominal package.
