Leatherman Wave
So I have been dating this guy for 5 months and...?
We were fine up until I started asking questions like "you don't seem to be as into me as I am you" etc. and he kind of freaked out. He told me he would rather just "be friends" but still kisses me and stuff. He just got out of a 10 year relationship and is scared to jump right into another serious one. But we still talk every night and hang out a lot and plan on spending new years together. It's a really weird situation.
Anyway, about 3 weeks ago when things were fine I got him a Leatherman Wave (a super nice "tool" pocket knife) and got his initials engraved on the side of it. He works in construction and hunts so I thought it would be a pretty cool gift.
Creepy to still give it to him or would it be okay? I mean, what else am I going to do with it? I don't expect anything from him, of course.
Help 
BTW, I got it for him for Christmas.

Sounds like he likes you but is scared in getting hurt again. Give him time. Give him that knife he would love it. Take it from me. I was married for 5yrs & it took me 2yrs before I could get into another meaningful relationship.
