Tactical Knife

In MW2, Does the Tactical Knife attatchment still count as a mele kill count?

I want to get that, but I don't know if the tact knife COUNTS towards it.

Yup it does, and as bonus it still counts for kills for the pistol your using it on so you can still unlock the marksman challenges by stabbing the shit outa people, can also level up your bling, cold blooded(or hardline), commando,ninja, or scrambler perks while tac knifing.
But my favorite way to do that is get marathon, light weight and commando and just run around 100 mph stabbing people in the face
