There are many creative problem solving techniques used by inventors to come up with new solutions to old problems. For sheer innovation, though, it's hard to beat the technique of concept-combination. Just start combining ideas and things, and voila, you're having fun - and maybe creating something new.

Innovation or Inovation?

Combining the concept of search engine misspellings with article writing gave me "inovation." What good is that? Well, now that I've used the misspelled word twice, the thousand people every month that type "inovation" into search engines can find this article.

"Search engine" combined with "people," could lead to the first search engine devoted entirely to information on individuals. "People" plus "advertising" might lead to the first large-scale paid-tatoo-placement campaign. Want a monthly stipend for having a Coke logo on your forehead?

Much of the innovation you see in the business world is nothing more than combining existing ideas. For a ton of new business ideas, just combine the concept of "home delivery" with almost anything. Parties, tax preparers, rental swimming pools? Would people pay to have these things delivered?

Using Creative Problem Solving Techniques

In the process of innovation, you need to be careful not to stifle creativity. This means allowing ideas to come without judging them at first. It also means using techniques only as tools, not as a rules. If your mind goes off on a creative tangent - let it.

Randomly combining things is a great mental exercise when you're driving or daydreaming. A boat and a bicycle becomes a waterski-bike that glides across the lake using pedal-power. Combining stock-trading and McDonalds has you imagining the selling of stocks and bonds at drive through windows.

For more specific problems, you just look for things to combine with what you already have. If your taxi business is struggling, combining "taxi" and "pets" might lead to a successful arrangement with a kennel, to pick up and deliver their client's cats and dogs. "Famous people," might give you the idea to run some sort of tour of the town, like they do in Hollywood.

For maximum creativity in your innovation, look far and wide for concepts to combine. "Meditation" and "amusement parks" seem too unrelated to yield interesting combinations, but I'll bet people at a carnival would pay to be put into a meditative trance using the latest brainwave entrainment technologies.

My husband has just been made redundant and is looking for a new job. He is also a retained fire fighter (on call via an alerter as and when needed). We just wondered whether he could claim any allowance seeing as he will have a small amount from fire service (very small!!). God knows we've paid enough in taxes and NI in the past - why not get something back wwhile he is looking!!? Thanks.

Usually the animal trainer works with dogs. It does not mean they cannot work with other animals such horses and domesticated animals. In addition, an experienced and skilled trainer can also work with wild animals like tigers, lions, elephants, bears, and friendly creatures like dolphins.

Trainer Basics

Dog involves multiple aspects like obedience training for pet dogs, and work related training for service dogs like the police dogs and other service dogs. Herding and assistance dogs are other species that require adequate training. In fact dog training has become a regular academic course now and it is possible having online degrees as well. Usually a trainer for service dogs has to work around 37 hours a week on the weekdays.

Dog Job is Lucrative

A dog trainer can earn very good salaries. Instances of a trainer earning over £30,000 per annum are not scarce getting. His job is quite lucrative. Even persons who never visited a university for regular academic courses can become a skilled trainer and earn handsome salaries.

Requisites for a Good Trainer

Usually the trainer should be confident about handling any type of dogs. Acquiring such capabilities shall only be possible when the trainer has good understanding and compassion for the dogs as well as their owners. Patience and positive attitude are two of the big assets for them. Motivation is something that they should not lack. One of the most important qualities of the dog should be knowledge about different breeds of dogs and their behavior.

Dog Trainer Jobs

Majority of the dog trainers are self employed. Usually they work for the clubs and rescue centers. Other employment opportunities come in form of security agencies, police, army veterinary corps, and revenue and customs services.

Basic Qualifications

Till date no such entry level qualification has been prescribed for an animal trainer who trains either domestic or commercial dogs. However the realization that most of the times the training levels of dogs either domestic or commercial has to be of very high quality, has inspired both the authorities as well as entrepreneurs suggesting some standards for training and experience. For instance a person seeking the job of dog trainer for police must have GCSE or A*-C with mathematics and English as subjects.

Many employers now find out whether the prospective candidate as dog trainer has undergone apprenticeship in some reputed agency or organization in animal care. People who have gained experience in the field are preferred over non-experienced trainers.

Those having doubts about the relevance of online degrees with relation to the careers of animal trainer can benefit greatly by visiting the website where extremely useful and valuable information provided by Michael Russell is available.

If your rig is still riding around at stock height, you need a lift—and fast. See, modern trucks are pretty much made for sporting a big set of rubber right off the assembly line. With the original donut size barely filling your wheel wells, your truck looks like an elephant standing on a stool. So, to fit the big tires that make your rig look right, you need more clearance, and that’s exactly what a lift kit gives you. In short, your rig plus a lift kit plus big tires and wheels equals awesome.

Okay, so youÂ’re saying that the ideaÂ’s great, but youÂ’re probably wondering how a lift kit gets it done without busting under pressure or causing other problems, the way your neighborÂ’s homemade job did. A true lift kit modifies your truckÂ’s suspension in any number of ways, depending on your factory gear. If you have leaf springs in the rear, count on some add-a-leaf inserts to the pack. Coil springs, in front or rear, are usually replaced by taller springs, thick spring seat spacers or both. Torsion bar suspensions usually substitute longer bars or tuned torsion keys. Plus, you may end up with new control arms, a-arms and steering components that relate your new height to the stock handling feel.

Now that you know how a lift kit works, letÂ’s look at the bigger boys making these badass toys. This should make picking the parts of your project a bit easier. WeÂ’ll start with one of the most recognizable names in lift kits: Skyjacker. Contrary to what you might think, the guys at Skyjacker arenÂ’t into hijacking planes at extreme heights. Rather, they make great lift kits with all-around capability. TheyÂ’re tough off-road, smooth on-road, and look clean everywhere. Next up is Rancho, a brand with plenty of cred in the truck world. Rancho is the off-road suspension arm of the same automotive giant that makes Monroe shocks, only Rancho parts are like Monroes on some kind of injectable substance pro athletes donÂ’t even know about yet. And then thereÂ’s Trailmaster, a company that takes a careful approach to the design of each kit. YouÂ’ll be grateful later when youÂ’re not pulling a defective part out of a cheapo lift kit and sending it back. Also, TrailmasterÂ’s shocks have quite a reputation.

Once you pick a kit from one of these choice brands, be sure to grab a pro installer for this job. You don’t want your cousin’s shaky 10-beer hands and rusty tools handling the fate of your rig’s stability. As soon as the kit’s in place, you’ll be cruising any terrain, sitting level (most lift kits get rid of the factory rear rake), and lookin’ mean. Parking barriers will provide the same resistance as a Twinkie. No hill or bump will ever high-center your rig. Nobody will want you to help them move (lifting a fridge an extra 6”-10” higher is a no-go). And, when traffic grinds to a stifled clog, you can make your own lane. In other words, you’ve been living too long without a lift kit already.

Browse brands like Skyjacker lift kits, Rancho lift kits and Trailmaster lift kits to give your rig the right stance and leave your friends in low places.

You have found the perfect place to find the ball caps and caps you need. Find endless types of ball caps ranging in variety such as firefighter ball caps. You can't go wrong buying caps that are unique, of good quality, and are exactly what you are looking for. Need more than one cap? That should not be a problem. You will be able to find everything you are looking for right on the dot minus all the hassles. You may be so impressed you come back and buy more firefighter ball caps, just because you loved the selection, variety, and the security of being able to find exactly what you are looking for.

With so many selections to choose from, any choice of firefighter ball caps you choose from is the perfect decision. Any one of the caps can be worn anywhere you please. If you can't think of any ideas, start thinking outside the box. Perhaps you can even start to think of places you have seen other people wear their caps. Caps are part of everyday life and you will more than likely see more than one person wearing them when you leave the house on any given day. Your neighbors probably wear them as well.

If you wear caps all the time, then you probably wear them pretty much everywhere. You may never even leave the house without wearing one or know someone who is that way. You can wear your caps just around the house if you wanted to, even if you are relaxing and watching television all day, babysitting your friend's kids, doing a DIY project, or cooking all day. These firefighter ball caps are for everyone, not just for men. Although men tend to wear them more often, women can look good wearing their cap around too.

If you are going out, just slip on one of your firefighter ball caps and you are good to go. Most of the time if doesn't take men as long to get ready whenever they leave the house, so slipping a cap on is quick and easy and they are done. For most women, it does take some time to get ready. But if you are in a hurry, and you don't need to get dressed up or just plain don't feel like it, then put a cap over your head before you leave the house and its one less thing you have to worry about.

Firefighter ball caps are great for wearing around and great for instant fixes such as bad hair day, but they also serve an important cause in supporting firefighters around the world. You may not think about it much when you wear your cap, but you are indeed showing pride in the people who put their lives on the line on a daily basis. Firefighters save lives, rescue people, and help keep the world in a better place. And for those, honor your local firefighters or every firefighter and wear your cap around everywhere you go.

It's highly likely most of us have not given much thought into how sugar mice are made. In the present age most would assume monster factories turn out zillions of the little things from a huge automated machine started by the simple press of a button. Think again. A small manufacturer in Wales produces brilliant sugar mice by the truckload using methods that have changed little since the 1600's.

A sugar mouse starts life as part of a block of fondant made from sugar and glucose. The required measure of fondant is made to produce a batch and then natural flavourings and colour are added. The fondant is heated in a type of cauldron and stirred, until thoroughly melted, mixed and just below boiling point.

The mixture is then drawn off with a pan and poured into a stainless steel cone containing a tiny hole in the bottom blocked with a doweling rod. The process gathers pace at this stage when the operative with the cone, moves smartly to the table waiting sugar mouse moulds followed by a colleague holding a handful of string tails.

The cone is held over the first mouse shaped cavity and the rod is lifted from small hole at the bottom, just long enough for the liquid fondant to occupy the mouse shaped mould. This continues with the tails placed into the new mice almost immediately after the mould is filled by the person holding the cone. They move purposefully and quickly over each mould until it is fully occupied by 20 new sugar mice, 900 in total, with the last drops in the cone forced through the small aperture with a tapping action of the rod.

An entire batch consists of 900 mice and is made by four people in minutes. Once checked for perfection, they are left for 40 minutes to 'set'. Having rested for 40 minutes they are carefully turned out and tiny pastel coloured sugar mice are born into the world, a score at a time. The new mice are laid out on trays and deposited on a trolley, then trundled along to the curing room, a sugar mouse nursery, if you will, where they stay for several days to 'mature'.

Every schoolchild knows real mice are born blind and so are the sugar variety. After the three day curing process has taken place, the mature mice go on to the next stage. Almost unbelievably, every nose and every pair of eyes are applied by hand, mouse by mouse, with edible ink. With their new features they move forward to the last part of the process.

Visually, this is the most striking part of the procedure. Laid out in lines of alternating colours, a movable trolley hovers over the mice and they are carefully packed, all ready in colour order into clear boxes. The boxes are in turn placed into large cardboard boxes ready to shipped throughout the world.

Half a million moulds, and noses and a million eyes all made by hand for what most would think to be the simplest sweet on the shelf. Think again.

At a time when many consumers turn to the Internet to find products and services, it's vital to have a presence on the Web. Otherwise, many potential customers may overlook you, simply because they can't find you. Through the Internet, you can attract future clients in your area, and communicate with your current clients. Here is an overview of five simple tactics to market your tax preparation service on the Web:

1)	Create a functional website
According to the Yahoo Small Business survey, 70% of small businesses had a website by the end of 2004, we can only assume current numbers are even higher. Building a website is the first step to developing an online presence. There are books written on building websites and firms that can help you design and optimize your site.

Without going into too much detail, your site should reflect your practice. It should be clean, professional and informative; and make sure your contact information is apparent.

2)	Register with online directories
If you go to the Google search engine and enter "Kaysville Utah Tax Preparation", the first thing that appears in the results is the Local business results for tax preparation near Kaysville,UT. This is Google's online directory of businesses. Registration in this directory is free. Following the Google directory is a number of other online directories that list tax preparation firms. Conduct a similar search for your area and see which directories come up. Then go through the steps to enlist in these directories.

3)	Create an email marketing campaign
An email marketing campaign will mainly target your current clients. This may be something you can implement in the future if you don't have a list of your clients' emails. Through an email campaign, you can inform your clients of special offers, promote your website or blog, or send a semiannual newsletter with tax tips and information. A newsletter is an excellent way to stay in touch with clients throughout the year and encourage them to come back the following tax season.

4)	Build a purposeful blog
A web log, or blog for short, is one of the newest forms of communicating online. Blogs began as online journals where people could share their ideas, thoughts, stories, photos and videos. Only recently have corporations recognized the value of a blog to connect to their customers.

A major advantage to a blog is you can find free software and services that will host the blog. A CPA or tax preparer could use a blog to share insights and opinions on tax law or other tax related topics. I found one CPAs blog where he shares jokes and comics about taxes and tax preparation. Though blogs are casual in feel, remember you are still representing your practice, so it should be done tastefully.

5)	Use paid listings through search engines when cost effective
MSN, Google, Yahoo and other search engines offer paid listings as a form of advertising. Paid listings, also known as sponsored links, usually appear at the top and at the right of search results. Companies pay to have their links appear on the search results page in these areas. This type of Internet marketing can be effective, especially when you are first creating your online presence. I recommend you hire an Internet marketing firm to manage and track your paid listings account. Your ads should focus on the demographic in your area to avoid spending a lot of money on ineffective advertising.

If done correctly, online marketing is a fruitful strategy to increase your client base and well worth the time and money spent.
