Folder Pocket

What is the difference between folders with braids and folders with prongs?
My sons school supply list says he will need the following:
7 folders with pockets and prongs
3 folders with pockets and braids
3 folders with pockets no braids
I know that prongs are the three metal pieces inside of folders where the holes from the paper go. However, I ave no clue what braids are. I did a websearch and all I got was other schools supply lists.
Perhaps braids are the three holes in the folders? If you're not sure, just have your son ask on the first day of school. If you're confused I'm sure a lot of other students will be as well, and the teacher will clear everything up for them.
Here is a funny side note. When my brother was entering 3rd grade his teacher put "3 fine tipped Sharpies" on the school list. This was before there were Sharpie commercials or before they were known as anything other than permadent markers. So my Mom thought the teacher meant very sharp utility knives and sent him to school with those. Long story short, my brother was suspended on the first day of 3rd grade for having utility knives.

The groom is fortunate when it comes to wedding planning and shopping in that he is not expected to run around and make all the decisions. For some reason this seems to be the bride's role. The bride usually goes crazy picking out everything from the flavor of the filling in the wedding cake to the color of ribbon used on the wedding favors. The groom's role is to be supportive and stand by, offer his opinion when asked and try to keep his bride's sanity intact through the emotional roller coaster of planning a wedding.
Even though the bride and her family have a huge role in the shopping decisions for wedding accessories and deciding on all the little details, the groom has one shopping function that he must do himself and he must do it well. The groom is responsible for selecting and purchasing groomsmen gifts.
Groomsmen gifts? You're new to this whole wedding thing. Many guys don't even know they are supposed to buy groomsmen gifts. These are basically "thank you" gifts to the other guys in the tuxedos at your wedding. Etiquette says it is only proper to thank the best man, ushers and groomsmen in your wedding for their participation and time spent on your wedding. You might expect these close male friends and family to step up and be in your wedding for nothing. But that is not cool.
To be classy you, as the groom, really need to give token gifts of appreciation and offer up a heartfelt thank you to your buddies. Depending on how small or big your wedding is, grooms usually spend anywhere from $20 up to $70. If you're having an extremely lavish event, then your groomsmen gifts should be up there in the $100 or more range. So you can see that a small wedding would require modest gifts and an extravagant one would require equally expensive groomsmen gifts.
Now that you've realized that you need to buy some groomsmen gifts, the next question is what type of items to buy. One surefire item that all men love and can use for years to come is a pocket knife. One brand of knife that is popular and high quality are those made by Buck Knives.
Buck knives have many different categories. Folding hunting knives, fixed blade hunting knives, wood handled pocket knives, metal handle folding knives, fishing knives, outdoor multitools, tactical knives and limited edition collector's models. This wide variety gives you a lot of options. Buck knives also have a wide price range from $20 up to $200+ for collector models. Many times these knives can be engraved on the handle or blade which is a special, finishing touch. A gift recipient is impressed even more with the gift if they see their own name or initials on it.
One last tip in terms of groomsmen gifts is this: do not wait until a week before you wedding to start your quest for gifts. Plan ahead at least one month ahead, two months ahead is better, so that you have time to decide, place your order and get your items delivered. You'll save money on shipping if you give yourself a little time. Otherwise, you'll have to pay rush charges and overnight shipping to get your Buck knives to you at the last minute.
Groomsmen gifts of Buck knives are practical gifts that your buddies will use for years to come. Lisa Gunther is co-owner of Gunther Gifts which offers hundreds of unique groomsmen gifts ideas. Most can be personalized for that extra special touch.

Knife Pouch

knife law in the uk?
what are the laws in the uk for carrying a knife in public at present does it make a difference if the knife is carried in a pouch on a belt serious answers only i just need to know what the law is thanks
What possible reason would you need to carry a knife? If you've just bought it you would probably get away with it and if you had a genuine reason to carry one such as if you have it with you and a fishing rod a box full of bait and a landing net then that would probably get you off.

As a tiny landlocked Himalayan kingdom, Bhutan remained sovereign and self-sufficient but unknown to the world outside for most of its existence until the mid 20th century. The country's heritage of rich culture and environment has remained almost completely untainted. Buddhism influences the daily life strongly and like nowhere else, one can experience Living Buddhism in Bhutan.
Bhutan is the abode of gods and the home to the immortals in the Himalayas. Apart from the majesty and grandeur of the natural surroundings, it has a special environment where communion with the divine is possible through contemplation and meditation. Therefore, since time immemorial, ascetics, scholars, philosophers and pilgrim have been drawn irresistibly to these remote and rugged mountains in their personal search for wisdom, inspiration, solitude and happiness. Over the centuries, the place has been blessed by these people with an invaluable spiritual legacy that makes the place conducive for the meditations.
Religious Dances & Music
Religious dances are called ‘cham' and there are a large number of them. Dancers wear spectacular costumes made of yellow silk or rich brocade, often decorated with ornaments of craved bones. For certain dances, they wear masks that represent animals, fearsome deities, skull, and manifestations of Guru Rimpoche or just plain human beings. The masks are so heavy that dancers protect themselves from injury by binding their heads with strips of cloth to support the mask. The dancers see out through the opening of the mouth.
Dances are base on the religious example for the ordinary people giving the idea of the good and bad, and of the god and the evil that are explained through the dances like the Judgment of the Death. Purifying and protecting a place from evil spirits, Dance of the cremation ground. Dance of the fearsome gods, Dance of the Guru Rimpoche with eight manifestations, Black Hat dance of magical performance, Dance of the stag and the hunting dog, Moral dance of the princes and the princesses and the famous Dramitse Ngachham (The Drum Dance). It's name and fame widely propagated as Dramitse Ngachham because the dance was originally composed at Dramitse Monastery in eastern Bhutan. The masks of the dance are the faces of 16 animals that represent the faces of 58 wrathful and 42 gentle deities. (Zhithro Dhampa Rigya). It is believed that, anyone witnessing the dance would receive eternal peace and prosperity when ultimately transforms his or her soul out of this temporal existence. The originality of Ngachham is very well preserved and practiced today at Dramitse Monastery under the guidance and Abbotship of his eminence Sungtruel Rimpoche.
