Is it legal to Cary Ka-Bar TDI knife in California?

Ka-Bar makes it very "easy to use" utility knife and security situations, which may be worn, and a handy plastic belt holster. Very interested in picking one, but I'm not sure if it was legal to drive (encrypted or outside it) ... Is it legal to California to make a fixed blade knife (3''or shorter) concealed? Wears a hip?

California's blade length is irrelevant. All fixed Blade knives "Dirks and daggers," and therefore can not be concealed. Knife worn openly separated from the waist and the sheath is not hidden. (Penal Code § 12.020.) But this is only the law, there may be some local control prohibited the open carry knives.
