Wood Handle

Wood Handle
Oh, enameled cast iron, Cook Ware handle / wood stove heat?

I want to make a pot of water on wood stove. I use the water for tea, and the humidifier. I want to leave unattended for 16 hours. It may be out of the water. I need a pot that can handle the heat. I understand the cast iron can deal with heat, but it is rusty. I admit enameled cast iron tend to rust, but it can deal with heat? If not, no suggestions as to what I could use?

I do not think cast iron is a good choice, it will rust if you use it primarily to water. But enamelled one will take some time, unless you give it runs out of water and can damage the enamel. I think a better option would be made of stainless steel. But if you are it, and you want to try it, you'll have your answer.
